What can be more fun and rewarding than dining out with your family and/or friends to raise money for an exceptional cause at the same time? The C.A.R.E Program at St. Mary Medical Center seeks to make this possible in Long Beach, CA by getting restaurants to donate at least 20% of their sales on Thursday, October 8th to the program. They are dubbing the event C.A.R.E to DINE, and the proceeds benefit clients of the only comprehensive HIV service program in the city.
C.A.R.E is a non-profit program that enriches the physical and emotional well-being of those living with HIV in Long Beach. With the support of the community, they have provided an array of special services that meet the medical and social needs of the HIV infected individuals regionally.
Come down to see The Nottingham Group anytime from 7am to 2pm on Thursday, October 8th at The Coffee Cup, where we will be hosting a large party for the benefit. Or contact the Program to host your own group at any of the participating restaurants. Unavailable on Thursday the 8th? Consider also donating your time, money, or services to the C.A.R.E. Donors at the C.A.R.E 21 Society level receive invitations to exclusive events throughout the year!
